At the summer camp!
And… I think this is the last story of this year… I am
so sorry to say goodbye to you, but I hope it is not a goodbye but a see you
later!
I did not tell you that I go to a summer camp three
weeks on July and August! As I told you, here in Britain we end school at
mid-June and start it at the end of August. I know this can sound strange for
you, but here in England the weather is very cold, and if we start school in
September, maybe the good weather is already gone. So, we have to take profit
of the little sun we have in August to be at school!
At first I did not want to go to any summer camp,
because I did not like them. Well, actually I did not go to any summer camp in
my life, until last year. I went to a summer camp in Ireland with my best
friend of school, John. We did not know anybody else, and we were very afraid
because we had to take an airplane and it was a long trip.
But we forgot everything once we got there! Such
beautiful landscapes! We had lot of fun, and we did all kind of adventures you
can imagine! Diving, climbing, routes… It is a good option not to be with your
parents all summer (which can be a little bit boring), and you meet new people,
people you can chat or send letters to.
